Dr. Ioannis Galariotis is Academic Assistant at the School of Transnational Governance at European University Institute in Florence, Italy. Previously, he was Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence (2015-2017). He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Athens University (2011), and postgraduate degrees from Newcastle University (International Political Economy), Essex University (European Integration) and Tilburg University (Economics and Statistics). His current research interests are oriented towards European integration and its regional and global dimensions, including EU external relations, international organizations and international security.
