Research interests: Dr Klarskov’s laboratory is interested in oxidative-stress induced post translational protein modifications and their consequences in pathologies like adverse-drug reactions, cardio-vascular and neurological diseases. Our research is divided into following subcategories; vitamin c-mediated protein modifications by small compounds i.e. homocysteine thiolactone, homocysteine etc., drug-induced modifications and protein S-glutathionylation.
