Research: Dr. Cheung investigates the effects of novel interventions in critically ill neonates and the long-term outcome in early childhood. His current focus is on the effects of hypoxia-reoxygenation injury and the actions of inotrope and other cardiovascular supportive drugs in systemic and regional circulations and platelet functions.
