Research: Dr Mishra focuses on the relationship between genetic, biochemical and molecular mechanisms and neuropsychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia; drug induced oxidative stress, and Parkinson’s diseases. Translational research towards development of biomarkers for the early diagnosis of schizophrenia and Parkinson’s diseases as well as novel allosteric drug development for treatment of mental illnesses are also conducted.
