Contract Instructors

Contract instructors are part-time academic staff hired to teach on a course-by-course basis. Applications for future contract instructor opportunities are accepted year round by the Chair who maintains them as a pool of candidates from which to draw as departmental needs arise. In addition, the Department is compelled by the CUPE 4600 Unit 2 Collective Agreement to advertise formally for such positions twice a year (in mid-December and early May) by means of an announcement on the Home page of this website.
