Biography

During his time at Carleton University alongside his studies, Brendan was the Director of Hatch, Carleton University’s Student-Led Incubator Program for two academic years. After his time at Hatch, helping students develop their business ideas and current companies, he transitioned into working with Carleton University’s Innovation Hub during his fifth and final year as their Marketing Lead.

Additionally, Brendan was able to grow his own media company, BMcGannPhotos, which he built out of high school. He also volunteered and was a apart of several student clubs such as: Carleton University’s Photography Club, Enactus Carleton, Carleton University Economics Students Society, and Carleton University Students’ Association.

What will you pursue next?

Following my time at Carleton University I have transitioned into the role of Head of Marketing at Plantaform, a local AgTech company that has created a smart indoor garden that uses a new technology developed by NASA called Fognonics. Alongside this, I continue to run and operate my media company BMcGannPhotos photographing and capturing cars for manufactures, individuals, and local companies.
