Award Information and Eligibility

About the Ontario Professional Engineers Foundation for Education: Founded in 1959, the Engineers Foundation provides scholarship funding and recognition to engineering students with demonstrated academic and leadership excellence. By encouraging them to pursue licensure and establish careers in the profession, and connecting them with resources along the way, we are proud to be building the future leaders of engineering. The Engineers Foundation is the official charity of the Ontario engineering profession, whose mission is to nurture engineering students into licensed engineers by inspiring academic and leadership excellence, providing financial assistance and connecting to mentors and employers. OPEFE scholarships demonstrate the commitment of the Ontario engineering profession to its future leaders. All of OPEFE award recipients have achieved both academic and leadership excellence through high marks, extracurricular activities and volunteering, making them some of the brightest and most promising future engineers in Ontario.
