Earth Day with Engineering and Design

Bring you classroom to Carleton University to celebrate Earth Day with the Faculty of Engineering and Design. Happening from 9:00am-1:30pm on Tuesday April 22, students will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of Earth Day through Environmental engineering and Sustainable and Renewable Energy engineering.

Activities include:

The Water we Drink: Water Distribution
The Air we Breathe: Air Pollution
The City Where we Live: Green Roof and Storm Water
The Energy we Use: Wind Turbines

9:00am Arrive to Minto Centre at Carleton
9:00-9:45am Earth Day and Engineering Presentation
10:00am-12:00pm Hands-on Activities and Lab Demos
12:00-12:45pm FREE Lunch in the Cafeteria
1:00-1:30pm Campus Tour
1:30pm End of Day
