Earth Day with Engineering and Design
Bring you classroom to Carleton University to celebrate Earth Day with the Faculty of Engineering and Design. Happening from 9:00am-1:30pm on Tuesday April 22, students will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of Earth Day through Environmental engineering and Sustainable and Renewable Energy engineering.
Activities include:
- The Water we Drink: Water Distribution
- The Air we Breathe: Air Pollution
- The City Where we Live: Green Roof and Storm Water
- The Energy we Use: Wind Turbines

- 9:00am Arrive to Minto Centre at Carleton
- 9:00-9:45am Earth Day and Engineering Presentation
- 10:00am-12:00pm Hands-on Activities and Lab Demos
- 12:00-12:45pm FREE Lunch in the Cafeteria
- 1:00-1:30pm Campus Tour
- 1:30pm End of Day
