Get real career advice from people who have been there.
Wondering what your first job will really be like? Not sure how to choose the right co-op? Curious about the skills employers are looking for or how to build your network before graduation?
Join us to connect with alumni who have already made the leap from university to the workforce. In small-group, roundtable conversations, you’ll have the chance to ask questions, hear different perspectives and get practical advice from professionals working in the field.
Bring your questions. Leave with new perspectives.
You could ask about:
- Co-op: How do you choose an opportunity that’s right for you?
- Career skills: What skills helped alumni stand out when starting their careers?
- Life after graduation: What is the transition from university to work really like?
- Networking: How do you build genuine professional connections?
- Career journeys: What do alumni wish they had known as undergraduate students?
There’s no formal presentation and no need to prepare. Just bring your questions and curiosity. We’ll provide conversation prompts and icebreakers to help get things moving.
And once the mentoring wraps up, stick around for a complimentary networking dinner, a chance to keep the conversation going and meet even more people from the FED community.
