Iron Ring Award

The Wardens of Camp 12 of the Corporation of the Seven Wardens present the Kipling Award at the annual Spring Iron Ring Obligation Ceremony.

Kipling Award

Eligibility Requirements:

Recent graduate or student completing their fourth year of an undergraduate program in Engineering at Carleton University;
High academic achievement;
Demonstrated leadership qualities; and
Demonstrated service to the Engineering profession and the community.

Value: $1500

Timing: Invitation to apply sent February. Award presented at Spring obligation ceremony.

Faculty Recommendation: Recommended, but not required.

How to Apply: Self-nomination – candidates submit a 1-page written statement indicating suitability in accordance with the above criteria.
