Today, November 25th, is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and marks the start of the annual 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. At FIST we are always thinking about the ways in which violence impacts the lives of our communities and beyond. Today, like every other day we will continue to teach our students about gender-based violence in Canada and beyond and the intersectional realities that put the most marginalized communities at risk.
