The gas burner is of the tubular ring type design and utilizes numerous orifices to insure thorough and efficient mixing between raw gas and primary air. The ring is equipped with clean out provisions.
The air registers are equipped with a series of doors of louvers designed to deliver the combustion air to the fuel supply at high velocity and with rapid rotation. The position of these air doors, from full open to full flows is controlled by a master air door operating shaft.
The diffuser, mounted on the diffuser pipe is standard on all units. On an oil unit, its function is to protect the spray from the main air stream and to provide the air flow at the atomizer tip. On a gas unit, its function is to direct the air flow to the gas ring to insure efficient combustion.
