Overview
The custodial service area is responsible for the cleaning services for over 293,299 square meters of building space on campus. This work is carried out using both in-house and contracted custodians. This area is also responsible for managing the removal of 907,000 kilograms of waste and 680,000 kilograms of recycling materials from campus on an annual basis.
The ancillary services area provides custodial staff to carry out cleaning in the common areas of ten residence buildings. It also provides the trade staff required to carry out the electrical, plumbing and architectural maintenance and repair needs for 114,500 square metres of student living space.
