P9 Greenspace Design Competition
Reimagine Your Campus. Shape the Student Experience.
Planning, Design and Construction (PDC) within the Facilities Management and Planning (FMP) team invites students to help reimagine an under-utilized area of campus as a vibrant hub for community life. This design competition challenges our campus community to envision a flexible, welcoming, and culturally respectful outdoor space that fosters student well-being, curiosity, and connection.
Participants are encouraged to explore how thoughtful design can enhance the daily experience of the
Carleton community, creating a place to gather, reflect, engage, and celebrate our shared campus
culture.
A Note About the Designs
The designs presented through this student-led design competition are conceptual and intended to explore creative possibilities for the outdoor space. Final designs, scope, and implementation details are subject to change and will be refined through ongoing cost analysis and engagement with appropriate community leaders and project partners to ensure alignment with community needs, cultural considerations, and project requirements.
