| CUNET Domain Renewal | The goal of this project is to ensure that ITS continues to be able to support the deployment of current Windows technologies. This will be achieved by: – Upgrading the CUNET operating platform to Windows 2008 – Renewing the aging hardware on which the CUNET domain operates – Renewing the CUNET domain test environment |
| IAM Phase II Provisioning & PW Management | Implement the Identity and Access Management functions of user provisioning and password management for the staff cohort, as defined and documented in the IAM project Phase I. |
| IT Infrastructure for new Academic Bldgs | Implement IT infrastructure in the two new Academic buildings. Provide IT Infrastructure to the Canal and River Buildings. IT Infrastructure to include: cabling, network electronics, wireless, voice, campus card, card access, security cameras and building automation systems. |
| IT Infrastructure for New Residence Building | Implement IT infrastructure in new Residence building. Provide IT Infrastructure consisting of cabling and network electronics, wireless, voice, campus card, card access, security camera systems. |
| IT Infrastructure Upgrades for Residence Renovations | Implementation of IT infrastructure in two Residence buildings scheduled for renovations. IT Infrastructure to include: cabling, network electronics, wireless, voice, campus card, card access, and security camera systems. |
| Oracle 11G Upgrade | At the completion of this project both Banner and FAST (Millennium) enterprise applications will be running on the current Oracle Database release of 11g. |
| Rideau Email Decommissioning | The goal of this project is to retire the Rideau email system and migrate active faculty/staff users to the Exchange email service. |
| Telephony Billing System Replacement | The goal of this project is to implement a new Billing Solution to be used by Voice Services to manage and administer chargebacks for subscribers’ telephone and long distance services. This will provide a single tracking and service management system that can also integrate with other Carleton IT products. |
| Web Server Renewal | This project will deliver carleton.ca as a high availability services, will refocus and prune the legacy web pages and services on Temagami and introduce Linux as a diversification strategy to Solaris as an operating platform. |
