On September 30, ITS in conjunction with University Safety, Communications and Equity Services launched the upgraded Emergency Notification System (ENS).

Planning for this upgrade began in July. It involved redesigning the ENS registration process and web pages, redesigning and testing of the new Blazecast software, and communicating process and service changes associated.

As part of the upgrade, a new campus alert service was launched to support the AODA.
