For the past year, several members of the Applications Development group have been collaborating with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs and the University’s graduate departments on a new online Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) Management system.

The first phase of this multi-phase project was successfully launched prior to the start of the Fall 2010 academic semester.

Departmental Associate Deans and Administrators will now use the system to assign Teaching Assistants positions best suited to their backgrounds. The TA Management System will also improve services to TA’s by providing them with Carleton Central access to their assignments, profile, and duties information. Major benefits derived by the FGPA include consolidated reporting and tracking capabilities.
