A reminder that on July 1, 2011, Information Technology Services (ITS) began charging $50 per copy for the SAS software. This new cost is applicable to all staff, students and faculty.
Over the past couple of years the usage of the SAS software has declined to a small percentage of the University population. Less than 350 copies were distributed in 2010. It is no longer cost effective for ITS to continue to cover the cost of this software.
