Windows 7 is Microsoft’s latest operating system that was released on October 22, 2009. Client Services and Information Security and Operating Platforms are now working on deploying Windows 7 to the Carleton community.
Deployment to computer labs has begun. The Admin / Desktop base image is currently under development and full deployment will commence this fall. The standard image will include Office 2010 suite.
Full support will be provided for Windows 7 OS bundled within ITS images that are configured and tested for CUNET on the CUNET domain
