ITS is building a new Windows 7 image which will be significantly leaner than the current XP version that is installed in the 25 Student Public Labs across the campus.
It will initially be deployed prior to the start of fall classes in 2011 and it is being designed with the intent to significantly reduce the time it takes to login.
