If you receive an email message asking you to provide your user ID and password, do not respond to it. This is a phishing email and should be deleted immediately.
Phishing is the criminal process of attempting to gather personal information such as user IDs, passwords and credit or banking details.
If you have already responded to any email requesting your password, please change it immediately. Your account may already be in use by a third party to send spam or viruses.
It is Carleton’s policy to never request this kind of information through email.
