Over the summer, Network Services made significant enhancements to the wireless network on campus. These changes will mean a better wireless experience for everyone.
- Replaced backend infrastructure. This has increased our campus coverage by an additional 10%.
- Upgraded the top 20 wifi access areas. This will enable more users to be connected to the network near these access points.
- Simplified login access to both cu-wireless and cu-internet. Both now authenticate against your MyCarletonOne credentials.
In addition, five more buildings on campus now have 100% wireless coverage.
