A reminder to all Carleton employees: If you are using a USB drive, be careful to take proper care and control of the device.
IT Security Tips for using USB drives:
- Do not leave sensitive files on it that contain personal information about students/faculty staff.
- Store your USB drive in a safe place.
- Delete all data off a USB drive before disposing of it.
- Use only one USB drive to avoid misplacing the drive.
- If you must store sensitive data on a drive, use a secure USB drive.
