Applicants not able to login to Carleton Central using the instructions received via email or standard mail please use the below work around to get access to your application status.  If you need further assistance please contact the Service Desk at 613-520-3700.

Work around.

  • Go to central.carleton.ca
  • Click on Login using your Carleton ID Number and PIN
  • Enter the User ID, this is the applicant number in the email you have received.
  • Enter the the PIN, this will be date of birth (YYMMDD format).
  • You will be prompted to activate your MC1 account.  This involves completing a set of security questions and setting your default password.

Once you access the main menu, click on Student Records and Registration and enter Admissions sub-menu.  There you will have the option to display information about your application(s) to Carleton.
