ITS regularly pushes Microsoft updates to all PC’s on the CUNET domain. However, end users can sometimes fast track a scheduled update manually.

To ensure that your Windows 10 PC is up to date with the latest Microsoft Windows updates follow the steps below:

Windows 10

  • Open Start – > Microsoft System Center -> Software Center
  • Go to the Updates section menu (left menu)
  • Click Install All (top right button)
  • After the updates have installed, restart the computer when prompted by the software.

For  PC’s not on the CUNET domain, to check for updates:

  • Open Start – > Click on the Settings Icon settings  -> Update & Security -> Check for updates

If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available.

Windows 7
