To effectively engage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders, ITS has developed an Engagement and Communications Strategy for the CIO.
The strategy will work to enhance visibility and accessibility of the CIO, foster a culture of open communication and collaboration, and ensure alignment with the university’s strategic priorities. It will also support and drive the digital transformation agenda, promote a dynamic hybrid working environment and ensure a high performing ITS team.
Enhancing Visibility and Accessibility
A key element of the strategy is an annual schedule of engagement events, held both in-person and virtual. These events will engage ITS staff, external stakeholders and the entire university during different junctures of the academic year.
“Together, we are building a thriving, high-performing ITS team,” said Valerie Turner, Chief Information Officer, during a recent ITS All-Staff Meeting. “This integrated and cross functional team will be a critical voice as we set strategy, define our priorities and find new ways of working together to meet new and evolving challenges.”
