To enhance the security of the entire Carleton University community, students, faculty and staff are being enrolled in Microsoft MFA. During the Fall 2024 semester, undergraduate students will automatically begin seeing prompts to set up MFA when they attempt to log into Microsoft 365 services using their MyCarletonOne password.
However, students who wish to self-enrol in Microsoft MFA before they begin seeing prompts can do so by visiting this page and clicking the Self-Enrol Now button.
Microsoft MFA is Carleton University’s multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution. Once enabled, you will login to Carleton systems using something you know (your MyCarletonOne password) plus something you have (your mobile phone, tablet, or pre-registered telephone number).
