Departmental Network Share Migration – DUC only

ITS will be migrating the Departmental Network Shares (Creative$, W: drive) for the Department of Communications (DUC) to the new SAN. The contents of network shares will be unavailable for approximately 30 minutes during the migration.
Please see below for the departmental network shares affected:
For Creative$ share:
Old Path: \\ccsnas01.cunet.carleton.ca\Creative$
New Path: \\cunas.carleton.ca\Creative$
For the W: drive path:
Old Path: \\ccsnas01.cunet.carleton.ca\UnivCommunications$
New Path: \\cunas.carleton.ca\UnivCommunications$
If applicable, please note that desktop shortcuts and automatic transfers to/from these shares will need to be updated to the new location.
Please save your work and log off your computer before the start of this migration. If not logged off, some data may get missed during the migration.
