Carleton staff and faculty are getting an Intranet.  This project is a collaborative initiative between the Department of University Communications, Human Resources, and Information Technology Services.

The Intranet is now in a soft launch phase and is scheduled to roll out to staff and faculty in November.

How to Login

If you have been selected to partake in the soft launch, you can login at i.carleton.ca using your MyCarletonOne credentials from your desktop computer or a mobile phone.

If you are a part of the soft launch and are having trouble getting in, let us know!

What You’ll Find in the Intranet

In your new Intranet you’ll have access to:

  • Top 5 things to know at Carleton each day
  • Events relevant to staff and faculty
  • Staff/Faculty News
  • Job Opportunities
  • HR Forms (leave report, benefits claim form and other health claim forms)
  • Your Leave Balance
  • Collective Agreements
  • And Manager Tools resources, if you’re a supervisor

Make it Yours

But wait, there’s more!  This is YOUR Intranet and as such you can:

  • Personalize your profile.
    Add a profile and banner image, update your personal information.
  • Customize your dashboard.
    Drag and drop content blocks to display information in a manner that works for you.
  • Subscribe to news feeds.
    Get news that is relevant to you.
  • Access departmental folders and files.
    Access the new knowledge bases that pertain to you right from within the Intranet.

And this is only the beginning.  The Intranet is an in-house developed system, and as such we have the flexibility to add new functionality.  If you have an idea for improvement, let us know in the comment section below.
