New and returning students to carleton University rely on Carleton’s websites to provide the information necessary for success and involvement. It is important that web administrators be able to update their websites in a timely manner and in a format that is easily accessible. Carleton’s content management system (CCMS) provides the means to do so.
There are currently over 300 web administrators across campus working on CCMS websites. In efforts to gather this community together and discuss issues around the web at Carleton, Web Services held their first Coffee Break with Web Services on August 24th.
Forty CCMS clients participated in discussions around how the ITS project began, where the project is now, the Web Services team’s success at OUCC and CANHEIT conferences, and upcoming projects.
