The first cohort of participants for the Carleton Leader Program, which includes Assistant Professor Vincent Kazmierski, will start this October. Those selected to participate have agreed to dedicate their time, effort and expertise to this initiative.

One of the goals identified in the strategic area of organizational excellence is the establishment of Carleton Leader, which fosters community building, good communication, sustainability and understanding. The program will offer faculty and staff the opportunity to work together to identify issues of importance to the university community and seek creative solutions for the real challenges the university faces. The program creates excellent opportunities to work across disciplines and departments and to build a strong network of program alumni across the campus. It also offers both theoretical and practical training which will contribute to the success of the individuals who participate.

The program has its official launch on Friday, October 25 at 9a.m. in the River Building Atrium.
