1125@Carleton has released a short documentary highlighting the first Born Social Fellowship cohort, and it includes some of our students!

In the documentary, you can meet Khadija Ahmed (Women and Gender Studies and Law) who, after her alternative spring break experience, decided to develop her own spin on the volunteer trip to increase international collaboration and exchange. Also featured is Sukeyeena Omran (Law and Legal Studies), who is working with Carleton to reform the university’s equity employment forms and seeking to support others to do the same.

The Born Social Fellowship is a unique leadership development program that will activate a new generation of globally-orientated and socially minded leaders to amplify social impact in Canada and around the world.
