I work as Counsel at the Department of Finance (Canada) where my practice focuses on financial institutions, financial regulatory reforms, financial products and services regulation, and government financing of infrastructure and development projects. I regularly advise clients on high-profile litigation matters, primarily those cases with significant fiscal implications.
I currently serve as a member of the Expert Working Group of the Commonwealth Secretariat, on the regulation of virtual asset service providers. I also teach public law at Carleton University. Prior to my legal practice and teaching, I worked as a legislative assistant on Parliament Hill.
