Now in its eleventh year, the MPNL/DPNL program attracts remarkably experienced students to the philanthropic sector. Resources are available for current MPNL and DPNL students, as are Forms and Policies. Reach out to the Graduate Administrator if you have questions. In addition, Carleton graduate students have access to professional development resources. Hear from Robinson Orume, an MPNL graduate
In 2022, Robinson Orume, a graduate, spoke about benefits of the MPNL program. He holds a master’s degree in protected areas management from James Cook University, Australia, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from his home country of Cameroon. He has 17 years of experience in the public and nonprofit sectors of environmental management. He started the MPNL program in 2022.
Hear from Paige Black, a 2022 graduate
Paige Black (she/her) talks about the program’s diversity and how it’s supportive of students with accessibility needs. She has worked for 10 years in the nonprofit sector, and in 2018, she graduated with an International Development degree from Dalhousie University. She’s lived with post-concussion syndrome since 2013 and wants to use her experiences to help others, especially students like herself who once thought pursuing a master’s degree wouldn’t be possible. She began the MPNL program in 2022.
