Carleton University Music professor James Wright will be performing as pianist and composer.
Dr. Wright’s music on the program is “Letters to the Immortal Beloved,” on excerpts from Beethoven’s letters, in a newly composed baritone/piano arrangement. A new CD recording of these pieces, by Julie Nesrallah and the Gryphon Trio (recorded at the CBC Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto), will be released on the Naxos Label in January!
