Join us for our Connected Culture Carleton Music Masterclass Series featuring D. D. Jackson!
The multi-Emmy-winning, Ottawa-born, NYC-area-based jazz pianist/composer D.D. Jackson will discuss his diverse career, including: recording for a major label as leader and touring as a jazz musician, writing music for television and film, working with The Roots, and current projects. He will also do a quick live jazz piano performance and share video examples. Through this masterclass, he will seek to illustrate the usefulness of approaching one’s career with an open-mind and in having a willingness to try out new creative endeavors.
