Bear Clan Anishinaabe Aaron Mills, who completed an Honours BA in Philosophy and English at Carleton before going on to pursue the study of law at the University of Toronto and Yale University, and who is currently completing his PhD at the University of Victoria, recently won a $50,000 Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada Talent Award. He will be using the award for further research into Indigenous legal traditions and dialogues of reconciliation in Canadian contexts.
