Congratulations to our wonderful contract instructor, Philippe-Antoine Hoyeck, who has been nominated as a 2020 Favourite Faculty Member.
Carleton students in the residence community were asked to submit a nomination form for their overall favourite faculty member, and Phil was among those identified. Here is what students have said about him:
Phil with Phil is my favourite because Phil is doing a great job teaching his class online. He is consistent and reliable, with his classes being easy to follow. He also provides optional reading for those that are interested in current issues in philosophy. Phil is also a very likable guy, when he hosts live lectures/study sessions not only is he making himself available for academic support but he makes the class more enjoyable with his use of examples and his whiteboard for doodling.
