photo of Ben AndrewsCongratulations to Benjamin Andrews, the 2022 winner of the Pollara Statistical Confidence Award. This award is given to those students who produce the best quantitative analysis papers at an advanced stage of their studies and who have been associated with the Department of Political Science through course work or supervision. Pollara Strategic Insights is a major Canadian research company that has been sponsoring these awards for since 1998. This is the 25th time the award has been granted.

Benjamin is receiving the award for his work in Political Science 5702-Intermediate Methods for Applied Political Science. His major course paper is entitled: Moral foundations theory predicts support for COVID-19 policies in a small pilot study.  Benjamin Andrews is a Masters of Journalism student.

Ben’s instructor in PSCI 5702 was Scott Edward Bennett of the Department of Political Science.
