Cati Coe has been awarded a SSHRC Connection Grant to support an international research workshop entitled “What is Work? Rethinking the Formalisation of Domestic Work as the Pathway to Dignity”. The workshop, scheduled for fall 2023, will discuss whether the ILO’s 2011 convention on domestic work speaks to domestic workers’ aims, experiences, and modes of resistance. It will include a public roundtable and keynote lecture.
