Eric Van Rythoven is an Adjunct Professor and Instructor in the Department of Political Science at Carleton University.  His research examines the role of emotion in security and diplomacy in international politics and is published in European Journal of International RelationsSecurity DialogueInternational Political Sociology, and International Theory among others.  He is also co-editor Methodology and Emotion in International Relations (Routledge, 2019).

Said Yaqub Ibrahimi is an Adjunct Professor and Instructor in the Department of Political Science at Carleton University. His research interests include international security, political violence, and fragile states with a special focus on the Middle East and the broader Islamic world. Ibrahimi has authored International Security in a World of Fragile States (University of Michigan Press, 2022). His work has also appeared in International JournalTerrorism and Political ViolenceSmall Wars and InsurgenciesJournal of South Asian Development, and elsewhere.
