Nilufar Ramji is the lead Public Affairs Officer for Moon to Mars activities at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. She is currently on a detail serving as co-executive producer for live broadcasts. With over a decade of experience in public affairs and strategic communications, she has led NASA efforts across various streams including celebrity engagement, STEM Engagement, and International Space Station outreach. She has received multiple awards including a group achievement award for Johnson’s strategic roadmap called Dare Unite Explore; her work in STEM Communications, NASA’s Response to COVID-19 and the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11.
Carleton helped set the stage for my career through its course catalogue and location in the National Capital Region. I am grateful for the opportunities that my degree from Carleton has brought me.
