After completing my degree at Carleton, I served as a SSHRC postdoctoral fellow at the University of Calgary (2016-2018). Afterwards, I joined the Canadian Municipal Election Study (CMES) team as a postdoctoral fellow at Ryerson University (2018-2019). In 2019 I accepted a tenure-track position in the Department of Political Science at Dalhousie University and a year later my wife accepted a position in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience.
My time at Carleton was exceptional. The opportunity to study with such great faculty, not to mention a wonderful cohort of fellow graduate students, provided me with the environment and tools needed to grow as an academic. Since graduating I have published dozens of articles and book chapters, many of which are the result of collaborations and connections established as a graduate student in the department.
