Since graduating from Carleton, I have been working full-time at Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada and participating in conferences to share the findings of my thesis research.
I was met with several opportunities when studying at Carleton University. I TA’d a few courses for the first time, I lived and studied in Switzerland, I completed two Co-op terms with the Government of Canada, and I successfully completed a Masters thesis. While all of these opportunities have lead to personal growth and strengthened my professional skill sets, Carleton’s Co-op placements afforded me a wealth of experience, aiding me in securing my current job at Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.
