Work and Labour Advisory Board

The Work and Labour Advisory Board plays a key role in providing advice and ideas to strengthen the Work and Labour program and to ensure it is ongoing relevance to unions and other organizations addressing work and labour issues. Advisory Board Members include representatives of national and local labour organizations, government and non-government organizations. The Director of the Institute of Political Economy, those teaching core courses in the Work and Labour program, and the student placement advisor are also members.

We seek leaders, visionaries, and activists who understand work and labour issues for our Advisory Board and encourage labour organizations to name a representative. Board members serve for a mix of 2-year and 3-year terms and meet twice per year. To apply, please send an email to the Institute Administrator along with  your resumé and cover letter stating why you would like to join the Work and Labour Advisory Board. Members of the Work and Labour Advisory Board are nominated by the IPE Director and approved at the annual spring IPE Board meeting.
