Theft from Residence Commons

At approximately 2:00 a.m. on April 4^th 2010, CSS officers assisted members of Residence security with apprehending an individual who was seen stealing a carton of cigarettes from Abstentions, the convenience store located on the main floor of residence commons. The individual was identified as a student, and was placed under arrest for questioning. Ottawa Police Service arrived and later released the individual from custody. The student accepted accountability for the crime committed, and will be dealt with internally.
