Campus Safety investigating thefts from examination sites
Don’t be a victim of exam theft.
Dec. 10th 2012
The Campus Safety Services is currently investigating several thefts of unattended items from examination sites that have taken place since last Thursday December 6th 2012. We would like to take this opportunity to remind all community members that are attending Carleton University for their course examinations to take precautions with your valuables during the examination period.
We recommend leaving any valuables at home and only bring with you what you need for your exam to the examination site. If you bring any valuables to the examination site, we recommend placing them under the desk, as valuables such as laptops or wallets are major targets for thieves and can easily be removed from the site if left unattended.
To file a theft report, community members are urged to contact the Campus Safety Services at 613-520-3612. If you notice any suspicious persons or activity, please contact the Campus Safety Services immediately at 613-520-4444.
