Carleton University Mourns the Death of Graduate Student Krista Johnson

The Carleton University community is saddened to learn of the death of Krista Johnson, a graduate student enrolled in the Master of Social Work program.
Ms. Johnson died as a result of injuries received in a motor vehicle accident in the City of Ottawa on Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012.
To honour Ms. Johnson, the flags at Carleton will be lowered to half-staff on Monday, Oct. 22.
Carleton University extends its sincerest sympathies to the Johnson family and to all of those who knew her.
School of Social Work students will be gathering on Monday, Oct. 22 at 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in 2017 Dunton Tower. Carleton University Chaplain Wayne Menard will be present.

A funeral service is scheduled to take place in Pembroke, Ont., during the week of Oct. 22. Details about the funeral will be shared with the university community once they are confirmed.
