Campus Safety Services investigate thefts from vehicles
The Campus Safety Services warns motorists about theft from vehicles.

The Campus Safety Services is alerting motorists of two reported thefts from vehicles since October 16th 2012.
On October 16th, 2012, a report was received stating that between 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. loose change, stored in the center console of a vehicle, had been stolen.
On October 20th, 2012, a report was received stating that between 10:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. loose change, which had been stored in a vehicles cup holder, was stolen.
Both vehicles were reported to have been parked in lot 14 and no damage was found in relation to either theft. The Campus Safety Services continues to investigate both reported incidents.
The Campus Safety Services would also like to remind permit holders of some tips to keep themselves and their vehicles safe:
-Always roll up your windows and lock the doors,
-Never leave valuable objects or packages in full view. Remove them or put them in the truck and,
-Never leave your vehicle unattended while it is running.
Remember, it takes less than 30 seconds for a professional thief to remove valuables from your vehicle.
