Parking Services accepting donations in support of two local charities

Donate mitts, tuques and canned food for your chance to win!

Monday, Nov. 19th, 2012

Parking Services is already getting into the holiday spirit this year! Parking Services is now accepting donations for their Annual Chris-Mitt’s Campaign in support of The Snowsuit Fund.

The Snowsuit Fund is a local charity organization that assists with keeping children warm during the cold winter seasons. Last year, The Snowsuit Fund was able to provide more than 15,000 snowsuits to children in need.

Parking Services will be accepting new and gently-used toques and mittens in support of this great campaign.

In addition to the Chris-Mitt’s Campaign this holiday season, Parking Services will also be accepting non-perishable food donations in support of the Ottawa Food Bank.

The Ottawa Food Bank is another great local charity organization that provides food to those in need throughout the year. This organization helps feed approximately 45,000 people each month. Consider making a donation to ensure that no one goes hungry this holiday season!

Parking Services will be accepting non-perishable food items in support of this campaign.

All non-perishable food items, toques, or mittens can be brought to Parking Services located at Robertson Hall Room 204, Mondays through Fridays, 8:30am until 4:30pm.

As part of the giving spirit, Parking Services will be holding a draw for a $50.00 gift card at the end of the donation period. For every two items donated, you will receive a ballot for this draw. The more that you donate, the more ballots you receive!

The last date for donations will be December 21st, 2012 and the draw will take place on the same date at 4:30pm.

Happy Holidays from Parking Services!
